St Enoder Vestry Minutes 1849 (3)



At a Vestry held in the Vestry Room of St Enoder held this 26th day of March 1849 (pursuant to public notice) the following resolutions were duly proposed and carried, viz :-


That the Churchwardens a/cs for the past year be allowed, - & proposed by Mr. Bassett & seconded by Mr J Bice

That the Overseers' a/cs be allowed


That -


The sum of £1 per annum be taken off from? - Joseph Andrews meadow - & that it shall stand in future at 10/0 instead of 1:10.0


The sum of 11:10.0 to be in future the rate of John Manhire


The sum of £25 to be in future the rate of Richd. Manhire


The sum of £1 10s 0d to be in future the rate of Richard Gilbert for Trefullock Meadow


The sum of £4 0s 0d to be in future the rate of Mrs. Jose


The sum of 3:10.0 to be in future the rate of George? Harris


The sum of 3:10.0 to be in future the rate of ?----- Julliff


The sum of 3:10.0 to be in future the rate of Captain James Mitchell


That the Waywardens' a/cs for the past year be allowed


That Mark Richards and Wm. Langdon Jr. be Overseers for the ensuing year


That William Varcoe and Peter Priske be Surveyors of the Highways for the ensuing year


That James Glanville & Wm. Langdon be Churchwardens for the ensuing year


That Malachi Bice and Edwd. Brokenshire be Assessors for the ensuing year


That a? rate by subscription of 1 penny in the pound be collected forth with


That the way m----- employed (Robert Stephens) be paid @ 10/- per week


That Jonathan Tamblyn be the Church Carpenter
