St Enoder Vestry Minutes 1848



At a Vestry held this fourteenth day of February, 1848, pursuant to public notice of the churchwardens & overseers, duly given, “for the purposes of nominating fifteen persons to serve the office of Constable for the ensuing year, and for the transacting of other business then and there to be brought forward,” the following resolution was duly carried, viz:-


First, that the following persons be presented to the Justices to serve the Office of Constable for the ensuing year, with a recommendation that the first five on the List be appointed, viz-
